VetiOx Odor Eliminator utilizes patented chemistry from ReliOx Corporation. As the fluid in the bottle passes through the generator cartridge the bonds of the salts are broke and VetiOx Odor Eliminator is released.

It is not bleach. It is not chlorine (as commonly defined). It is similar to the selective oxidizers used as EPA approved disinfectants used to clean municipal drinking water and that eliminate biofilms the water.

It is a non-persistent selective oxidizer that is extremely reactive (oxidative) when produced. Due to its reactivity once created, it rapidly loses its effectiveness and because of this reactivity it only takes a few minutes of contact time to destroy all odors. Yes, yes and yes. When applying VetiOx Odor Eliminator to the pet always keep the spray away from eyes, nose and mouth. Otherwise contact with the animal is fine.

Litter boxes are a source of a tremendous amounts of odor from urine and feces as well as chemicals that may be an ingredient in the litter being used. VetiOx Odor Eliminator will reduce these odors through oxidation. As there is a lot going on chemically in the litter box, it may take several applications to eliminate the odor. Cages are a great place to use the product. Ensure soiled bedding and toys are removed from cages before treating. Wash and treat these separately.
